Are you looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community? Middlewich & District Foodbank is seeking dedicated volunteers for an Administration Role at our warehouse in Byley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to people in need while working with a supportive team.
Volunteer Administration Role
- Location: Foodbank Warehouse, Byley
- Days: Tuesdays and/or Fridays
- Time: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
What Does the Role Involve?
We are looking for volunteers to work on a rota basis, assisting once every 2-3 weeks. Key responsibilities include: ✔ Compiling a list of clients requiring food parcels using our referral database.
✔ Sending text notifications to clients with collection times.
✔ Coordinating delivery schedules and texting clients their estimated times.
✔ Assisting other volunteers in ensuring food parcels are packed and ready for distribution at our Middlewich hub.

Volunteer Role – Driver
We’re looking for reliable and friendly individuals to join our volunteer team and help make a difference in our community.
Volunteer Driver (Fridays, 11am–2pm)
Starting in March, we need a driver to help deliver food from our warehouse to our local hubs.
- Must have a clean driving licence.
- Should be able to carry crates of food.
- Enjoys meeting people and working as part of a team.
Volunteer Helper (Fridays, 11am–2pm)
Assist the driver in delivering and collecting food. This role can be shared between two people alternating Fridays.
Location:
Our warehouse is at The Holly House Estate, Middlewich Road, Middlewich, and our hub is at The Victoria Hall (open Tuesdays and Fridays, 11:45am–2pm).

Hours: 2 hours per month
Specification: To hand out shopping lists & thank people for the items they have purchased
Where: Asda Supermarket, The Drumber, Winsford CW7 1BD
No. of people needed: 8 people
How to apply: This is a combined monthly event with Mid Cheshire Foodbank so you need to book onto their rota as follows

Specification: To provide a link between local businesses and community groups and the foodbank. To attend quarterly Steering Committee meetings held in at our premises or virtually
