John Duley

My name is John Duley and I am one of the original Trustees of the food bank from when it first become a charity.

Now retired after 40 years in the Telecommunications Industry I take the lead on Health and Safety policies and am currently interim Chair of Trustees.

Anne O’Keefe

I’m Anne O’Keefe and I joined the Foodbank team as a volunteer in 2018.

I am a chartered accountant and became a Trustee in 2019 to use my financial knowledge to support the work of the Foodbank
alongside our wonderful treasurer Mike.

I also help out at No 28, delivering parcels and in the warehouse.

Hayley Saich

Hi, I’m Hayley Saich and I was delighted to become a trustee in 2024. Having spent my career in management consulting and marketing I will use my experience in helping the foodbank strategy in the coming years.

Debbie Brain

After a long career in early years education, I am delighted to join the Middlewich Food Bank trustees. I have worked for almost 20 years as the Business Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead for a large, community based charitable preschool. I am excited to meet everyone connected with the food bank and learn more the operations and service users. I hope to bring many years of knowledge and experience to the role of Safeguarding Trustee. I have a real interest in our local community, serving also as a local primary school governor and as a regular volunteer at St Luke’s Hospice. I also enjoy spending time with my family, travelling in our VW camper and walking our very energetic dog!

Sarah Bardell

I am an experienced HR Advisor (MCIPD) from the rail industry. I understand the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and selection, induction, training and development and supporting employee wellbeing. I work part-time, so have the time to commit to this role and see this as a great opportunity to support the foodbank in any way I can. I enjoy walking my dog, running and attending a weekly boot camp with friends. My husband is a beekeeper so I help with honey sales to raise money for charity.

TRUSTEES WHO ALSO VOLUNTEER

In addition to the Governance roles, a number of trustees also carry out volunteer roles.  These include social media updates, presentations to external bodies, as well as the more obvious support activities in and around the warehouse.  In these scenarios, trustees are acting just as normal volunteers under the direction of the Project Manager.
